By using the capian.co website (“Service”), a service of UX-co Conseil inc. (“UX-co”), you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). UX-co reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Continued use of the Service after any changes shall constitute your consent to such changes. Violation of any of the terms below will result in the termination of your Account. You agree to use the Service at your own risk. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You understand that UX-co uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.
You must be 13 years or older to use this Service. Accounts registered by robots or other automated methods are not permitted. You must provide your a valid email address in order to complete the signup process. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, password and projects URLs. UX-co cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You are responsible for all Content posted and activity that occurs under your account (even when Content is posted by others who have access to your account). You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). The Service may use clients logo on its website (let us know if this is an issue for your company).
You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. An email to cancel your account is considered cancellation. All of your Content will be immediately deleted from the Service upon cancellation. This information can not be recovered once your account is cancelled.
Email support is included and illimited for all plans. Phone support is available for Business plans or higher.
You can opt out from our newsletter so we will not send you regular information and tips about Capian. However, UX-co reserves the right to inform you of any major update or other important information regarding your account as well as send courtesy follow-up emails regarding your trial version as long as your account is active. If you do not wish to receive those emails, please don't sign up or delete your account.
A valid credit card is required for paying accounts. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your paying plan at any time. The Service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. To change/cancel your service, log into your account and edit/cancel your actual plan or simply email us at [email protected] at the end of the month. The changes to your account will come into effect immediately.
All invoices for custom, on-demand work are required to be paid in full within 30 days. Courtesy reminders will be sent by email from time to time to inquire about the status of an unpaid invoice. After 30 days, we reserve the right to automatically process the payment of an unpaid invoice from your credit card.
Payments for common custom work such as custom design (white labeling) and custom URL will be processed automatically on your credit card when the service is delivered and the bill is issued.
UX-co reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all Services, including but not limited to monthly subscription plan fees to the Service, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us.
Capian supports the current and previous major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari. The Capian browser extension is only available in the Chrome Browser. We are committed to providing our clients with continuously more advanced features and better user experiences. This is why we support the latest browser versions so that you can make the most out of Capian. Please contact our support team for any questions you may have.
Capian allows you to export in different file formats (PDF, PowerPoint). Since there is a lot of technical constraints with these properiatary file types, these exports are not built to provide great looking report, but as a simple way to keep a copy of your reports and to make it easier to copy and paste content so you can build custom reports with a tool of your chosing. There is no guarantee that it will work well for you, so they are provided "as is".
You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML/CSS or visual design elements without express written permission from UX-co. The look and feel of the Service is copyright UX-co. All content posted on the Service must comply with Canadian copyright law.
