As a former full-time UX consultant, I wasted a lot of productive time in time-consuming processes that added no value to my work. My work, relying on specialized expertise, involved handling documents, formatting, copy-pasting, and more. None of these tasks contributed to the audit work or added value for my clients. My technical associate, Jean-Michel, observed my way of working on evaluations and immediately realized that it made no sense: I was performing repetitive, tedious, and non-value-added tasks. He watched, listened, asked a ton of questions, and managed to build a tool that simplifies this laborious process. After a few prototypes, he created a satisfactory version of Capian, the ancestor of the one that is now online. We decided to open Capian to all professionals so that they too could be better equipped.
Jean-Michel analyzed the situation, the ways of working on audits and annotation. He removed repetitive, tedious tasks that provide no added value. Capian was born out of the UX/UI vision and developed to better serve users, customers, and enhance the success of delivered projects. Today, thanks to our customers, we get up every morning with one idea in mind: to build the best product to provide our customers with superpowers so that they are happy and fully involved in their areas of expertise and the projects they are carrying.
Today, the observed time savings are approximately 70% faster, and the quality of work is significantly higher, as we are more focused on the work and communications.
