Apply Multiple Filters to your Heuristic Evaluation
One thing we've been hearing a lot from our users, is that it would be great to filter findings by multiple fields (tags, severity, criteria).
We have good news for you: it's now possible to filter by tags, severity and/or criteria!
For example, you can show only the critical findings concerning the homepage tag.
We also simplified the project header. Here's how it looks:

Why multiple filters matter for heuristic evaluations
When conducting a thorough heuristic evaluation, you can easily end up with dozens or even hundreds of findings. Without the ability to cross-filter, it's difficult to focus on what matters most.
With multiple filters, you can now answer questions like:
- Which critical issues relate to navigation?
- What did we find about the checkout flow using Nielsen's heuristics?
- How many minor issues are tagged as accessibility?
This makes it much easier to prioritize fixes, create focused reports for specific stakeholders, and track patterns across your evaluation.
We're making lots of improvement to Capian in the weeks and months to come, so please keep the feedback coming.
